Crisis Makes Us Choose.
Today’s message continues our study of Elijah and he is in the midst of a drought. It was so bad that the King was out looking for water for his animals, but the Word of the Lord comes to Elijah and he gives the message to King Ahab. And the message wasn’t what the King wanted to hear! The showdown that ensues is the story’s theme, that “Crisis Makes Us Choose”.
Today’s bible verses are found in 1 Kings 18, using the entire chapter. Pastor Michael starts the message at verse 21.

Our topic today is that when is seems like we don’t have enough, God IS enough. We have to get over that it looks like enough when it is enough! If you’ll give God your “not enough” He will make it enough!

Today’s message continues our study of Elijah and Elisha with the central theme of “God Is There And God Cares!”.
Waiting is our topic today and our Michael take-away is, “While we’re waiting, God is working!”. As an example, a word from the Lord might be more mundane than we think. But we have the written word of God so we don’t have to wait around to hear a voice for us to make good decisions. And the word from the Lord might just be, “Wait”.

Today’s message, “Lord, make the DRY season MY season” and is all about drought. The parallels here are between a weather drought and a nation-wide spiritual drought. But, we know the Rainmaker and even though there may be a drought, God is there IN the drought!
Our theme therefore today is, “God is there and God cares!”.
And, anytime you take a good thing and make it a *main* thing, it becomes a bad thing….so don’t put anything above God!

Today, Pastor Michael’s message is a return to the series on “The Secret of Being Bless-able”. It is the last of the series that he has been covering for several Sundays. The main theme to this series is “Character Creates Capacity for Blessings”. Today’s message is about authentic religion and how, “If we know Jesus, we have to show Jesus”.
Our mouths will destroy our credibility just about faster than anything! We have the greatest message in the history of the world, why would we mess up our credibility to communicate that message?

Pastor Michael’s message today is another segment of his series on “The Secret of Being Bless-able”. The central theme around this series is, “Character Creates Capacity”, meaning that the secret to being bless-able is your character.
We need the capacity of character to accept what God is blessing us with. So, we have to grow in character. Today’s message is on being a doer. Our key thought is, “Trust God and do the next, right thing”. If you want a different life, it won’t happen by accident…it will happen by ACTION.
Today’s topic is Purity and our bible verse is found in James 1: 22-26.
